Truly Compelling
I've really enjoyed the way Unsolved Murders uses its ensemble cast in a unique and effective way to draw me in and tell their story. The likeable and distinguishable voices draw me in to the drama of the cases, and give the stories a lifelike quality that sets this podcast apart. Listening to the story of the New Orleans "Axeman" was not only incredibly disturbing due to the fact of his case being open to this day, but extremely captivating to hear the tales of those events. I sense a ton of potential with these podcasts, and cannot wait to listen to more!Read full review »

I agree this thing has good foley production but the writing can be pretty lame at times. Specifically, the narration when it continually explains things that really need no explanation. My husband and I really like this podcast....when we're in the right atmosphere. It's theatrical storytelling intermixed with narration from the hosts. We like ghost stories and listening to this on a night drive or at home is enjoyable.Read full review »
