“Just finished this podcast. First, the negatives: 1) too much time spent on recaps of the previous episode! 2) redundant in places 3) I can detect a bit of the vocal fry and up-speak (valley girl) but it wasn't to the point of where I wanted to stop listening. 4) some people compared it to Serial, but...no. The positives: 1) it's fast. Most eps are about 15 min or so 2) while it's not Serial or even flawlessly produced, I'm guessing the budget wasn't huge, so the sound-quality and writing is good for what I'm sure they were working with 3) I am so glad that there are people who refuse to give up even when faced with dead-ends. Podcasts like this give voices to people who maybe felt forgotten or lost through changing time. Officers, family, friends---they all get to say their piece again.”Read full review »
