Fascinating subject, badly told
This podcast is so frustrating. The Daniel Morgan murder is a tale that needs to be told, I really feel for the family and their frustration at the lack of justice, and the level of police and press corruption is fascinating. But it is so badly produced and narrated! The style is so hammy I cringe while I'm listening (did he actually say 'fasten your seatbelts'.....?!), and half the time you're trying to work out who's talking because there seems to be an assumption we can remember the huge number of contributors. The narrative often isn't clear, there's often too much detail left in which confuses things - I don't need to know what time someone got a phone call, or what the weather was like that day unless it's relevant to the investigation! And don't get me started on the adverts that literally cut in mid sentence. Pleeeease get a good producer & editor on board, because this could be brilliant.Read full review »

A very well done podcast about a brutal murder. Police corruption, phone hacking and disasterous bureaucracy. This story is the very painful side of the saying, "Better to let ten guilty men go free than one innocent man go to prison."Read full review »

and can't stand the constant background piano music. Like others have said, it's produced in the style of a TV doc, not in the style of a podcast. No objective points, just one sided narrative. It needs a lot more work and it's definitely nowhere near as good as Serial (season 1)Read full review »

Nothing like a mystery to keep you awake at night. Sending positive thoughts to the family of this man and hoping justice will be served. To everyone reading these reviews before you subscribe I say just do it. A 30 year old murder mystery from England that seems to be a cover up of some sort....Read full review »
