Sensationalist and disappointing
Apparently one third of people have psychological issues from meditation, this fact is offered up with no mention of the research confirming it. I would like to see the studies confirming it. From the intro the podcast wildly one sided with no mention of people who benefit from this practice and no mention of the featured women’s lifestyle or childhood prior to the retreats. To put the blame for the women’s breakdowns solely on the technique is poor journalism, desperate for a story where there may not be one.
