Wondering where this might go
Having done a Visspassana retreat in France thirty years ago and greatly benefited from it ever since, (I even am considering going back for a refresher) I was pretty upset to hear this tale and wondering where it could possibly lead. I came away from my retreat with the advise to meditate once or twice daily for twenty minutes in real life and have found it enormously beneficial. The retreat was exactly as promoted, exactly as expected and a wonderful life enhancing experience. The spooky American conspiracy background music of this pod cast worried me that this journalist is seeking to make a problem where there is none which will hurt a lot of innocent people just trying to improve the world. Let’s see what conclusion she gets to.
