Interesting but…
So interesting so far but I do note that prior to attending the retreat she displays some minor symptoms of worsening mental health that are not picked up on and treated so I can’t clearly link the two. Did the retreats damage mental health or was the damage done when a burgeoning mental health issue was overlooked and followed a steady clinical pattern of mental wellness breakdown. I hope the family stay healthy and well

Vipassana is a technique which I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say has helped millions of people across the globe. A few anomalies does not a cult make. It really saddens me that this podcast aims to discredit something that is so wholly beneficial to so many people.

The sheer numbers of people who meditate without injury underscore that the tragedies of this podcast were outliers.
