Heartbreaking
Episode three is heartbreaking but sensitively told. Even if it is a tiny minority of affected by this type of meditation or they had a predisposition to mental health issues, it doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t have been protected and helped. It comes across that the organisation is not experienced to deal with participants having a mental health episode whilst at their retreats. Hopefully the organisation can learn to put in safeguarding measures rather than blame they’re attendees (which a lot of these defensive reviews seem to be doing). Lost one star because I’d like to know more about the science behind psychosis brought on by meditation, but maybe that’s to come.
