I’m Mike Grimes, DEA Agent retired. This is the very first podcast I have listened to; I had to get someone to show me how to open it. Although I was interviewed at length, I had no idea how a podcast was put together. I thought it was well done, and with a little drama. Being an agent is a lot of hard work, some of it boring, with a little excitement sprinkled here and there. It took me many months to track down all involved in the case and I had a lot of help from other agents and officers. My friend Larry Joyner retired and shortly thereafter died; it was very sad for me. Larry and I became good friends. Larry was a very meticulous officer who gave a lot of attention to details. I so wish he could have participated in the podcast. When Larry and I followed LaGorea (sp?) into the grocery, Larry said he had to get close to him to make a positive identification. Knowing Gorilla saw Larry I knew I had to arrest him or he would be gone to Colombia post haste.

The way the hosts make fun of small...Read full review »

The main reason that it’s only three stars for me is that a lot of the banter doesn’t really progress the...Read full review »

I always love a story that sounds so crazy you can’t figure out if it’s true or not! This podcast is fantastic and SO worth the listen. I did deduct 1 star because of the excessive commercials. I know podcasters need to do them to generate revenue, totally understandable, but this is the most...Read full review »
