Love the concept, format need tweeks
Update: May 2017 After listening to several episodes where the extra content took up 10-15mins of a 30 minute show, I have decided to unsubscribe. I support what they're attempting to achieve, but for a show that insists on repeating the tagline "magically turning knitting questions into knitting answers" at the top of each episode, it's quite disappointing to find such a small portion of the episode devoted to said cause. Perhaps the show format needs rebranding to more accurately reflect the mixture of content being presented now as compared to its inception. Original: I have been watching VP videos on YT for a few years now and credit Staci for helping me relearn the joy of knitting. As with her website and videos, she has become an invaluable knitting resource to me. The most recent episode on stash organization motivated me to write this review. I understand there are many reasons why the length of the show has been kept relatively short. My biggest gripe with the current format is the amount of time the "field trip" content has cut into the Q&As. Casey is awesome and I really enjoy hearing her take on all things whether or not they are knitting related. With that said, I can't help but feel a little disappointed when they don't get into the questions until the halfway mark of the show. Perhaps only offering this content every other week and reserve the off week for Q&As only would be a better way to go. Also, it is becoming a little tiresome that Staci still asks about housekeeping/time management at the start and end of each show. There has to be a better way to convey a sense of conversation to the show.Read full review »

Staci is my go to when I need knitting help. She explains things in such a thorough and easy to understand way. I feel I come away a smarter knitter. And...there is always time for a laugh or two.

This podcast is well-prepared and articulate. I appreciate the questions that followers send in and I have been able to learn from what I've heard so far (only two episodes in). Staci has a great sense of humour but keeps the conversation focused so we can learn from her expertise. A great...Read full review »

Holy cow this show is so informative. I can’t wait to listen to all the episodes. I like to listen to the hosts’ soothing voices as I knit.
