This is such a huge topic that should be talked about more.
I have two degrees, schooled in behaviours, psychology and so on. My career choice was to support adults with special needs.
Last year I made choices that sent me to get professional help.
I didn’t have the answer, my doctor wrote me a note to take two weeks off. That gave me more anxiety because all I thought was I have two weeks to get better. Ya right.
After seeing a psychiatrist, group therapy for months, medications, off work for over a year now, I’m better but not 100%.Burnout and stress is real.
Right now I am super happy and focused to learn a new craft, start a side business with my focus on the power of positive thinking, positive actions and goals. Will I slip, hell yes, but I will get back up and reset.
