What about the women?
This is a wonderfully entertaining podcast--emotional, exciting and captivating, but it is hugely lacking in it's attention to the women's side of the sport. With only one episode out of the 7 available (and 9 previewed) focusing on women, this is a major disappointment. There is a show about the rise of the US Men's team in the early 90's, but what about the US Women winning the first ever women's World Cup in 1991? It would be interesting to dig into the fact that it took 60 years of men's world cup tournaments before the founding of a women's tournament. And these are just US stories, it would be great to hear more about women's socer on a global platform!Read full review »
