Thanks for Sophie interview she has no idea what it’s like to really date here in NYC and be screwed over by men for being yourself as a woman and being kind. There’s a reason why dating rules/standards exist for women. She sounds so naive

Love the most recent episode!! I think the way Lindsey defends her views make a lot of sense and love when there are conflicting views!

I’m a long time listener and love Lindsay and the podcast. I used to truly enjoy listening but recently I’m a little distracted by all the wedding talk (which often is very privileged) and sometimes feel that Lindsay’s solos come off as condescending. I think she means well but the way certain...Read full review »

We Met At Acme is one of my favorite accounts to listen to as a podcast, on Instagram, etc. Lindsey is so engaged with her followers and is great at getting a pulse on what topics we’d like to hear. So much practical (“girl-chat”) advice that makes me feel like I’m listening to a friend!

So I found this podcast through Kit Keenan who I follow on Instagram and I will say, I didn’t like it right away. I’m the kind of person who likes short podcasts so for me, hour long episodes felt like a drag. It took about 3-4 episodes for me to finally realize that I LOVE this podcast (and I’m...Read full review »

Lindsey says it how it is-she is always 100% spot on! She gives insights with ease and with a straight forward nature that is necessary and also constantly asks the right questions!!!! A must listen for anyone dating and navigating relationships.

Lindsey is the big sister of podcasts...always love her advice and her guests!

5 star rating for Linds but wow this last ep was brutal. Mrs Dow Jones would not stop talking over her, to the point that it was beyond irritating. Every time I thought it was the last time she kept going.

Lindsey is so knowledgeable on dating and relationships and provides great insights and information on how to best navigate it all. All of her guests add so much value to the podcast but also love all of her solo eps! Have basically binged all of her episodes and highly recommend listening even...Read full review »

I was told to give it a listen by some female friends, thought I’d hate it since I’m not into astrology or most of the other usual topics, but actually find Lindsey really funny and she does have great content on here if you are dating in your late 20s in nyc. Love the show !

I think you missed the mark on Greg. Watching the last few episodes isn’t enough to get to the full story. From day one, this guy just kept seeking validation, and getting what he asked for and more. Katie did so much for Greg, including telling him when he can find her at the pool for alone...Read full review »

Even as a person in a LTR, I find Lindsey’s podcast to be informative, entertaining, and thought provoking. I like that she interviews in a conversational style that feels like it has a planned direction, but isn’t all scripted. I LOVE the polls on Instagram which is actually how I discovered the...Read full review »

We Met at Acme has single single-handedly changed my life + perspective on dating! I’ve been following WMAA Instagram and listening to the pod for around a year now. I’ve been listening to We Met At Acme since 2017! I’ve loved the evolution of the podcast from the diversity of its guests to the personal growth we get to hear from the host and hopefully all feel within ourselves, too. It was so relatable back then when I was single and it still rings true now...Read full review »

I’ve listened to a handful of episodes and I don’t think I’ve finished a single one. Unless it’s her and a guest. The solo episodes are trash.

Was a big, big fan of the show. However, feel like the pod/brand is heading in a strange (and very young feeling direction). Not into the the recent workout videos or the more overt college-focus. Beginning to feel like this is shifting to cater to a 20-22 year old audience, which is potentially...Read full review »

Thank you so much for the amazing advice and inspiration. By far the most honest, comprehensive dating podcast out there. Her Instagram surveys are so much fun daily. She’s so inclusive also of every kind of relationship and her advice is universal. Perhaps Lindsey doesn’t have control over it, but I’m not a fan of the ad reads worked Into the conversation to seem “natural” — in fact, it comes off as anything but that. Such an easy, relatable, interesting podcast to listen to. This podcast makes me feel like I’m sitting with my friends drinking wine on a chill Wednesday night talking about our lives. I love it, never gets old.

Such ill informed opinions and narrow view of things. No respect for people with differing opinions. Lindsay must think that if she doesn’t mention her engagement every 5 seconds she will implode?
Zomcole via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 12/06/21
Lindsey is so easy to listen to, and I love listening in the background of literally anything I do. Her solos are relatable, she’s fun and funny (points for astrology talk lol), and gives the tough advice we all need to hear.

I love this podcast! Love the discussions on astrology, relationships, etc. I don’t really understand a lot of the negative reviews if I’m being honest. I used to love listening to the podcast and had been a fan since the first episode. I recommended it to so many of my friends. But it has all gone downhill the last couple of years. Eh
The ads, and the host in general, are pretty disingenuous. In one ad, she says to us little listeners, (paraphrasing) you've been suchhh a good listener, so I really want you to have 20% off Sakara! I used to be an avid listener to this podcast. However, I feel as though overtime it very much changed and now seems to revolve around her engagement and marriage. Used to love this podcast very much. However, over the years, the podcast hasn’t been hitting the same. There’s a critical lack of self awareness and hypocrisy when it comes to the host’s theories and “rules.”

This podcast is entertaining at best but the host’s inability to stay present with her guests or respond in ways that she shows she’s listening makes it dubious to trust where her intentions are at with what this show is about. I used to listen to this a lot, but lately the host’s self-obsession (which has always existed) has gotten a little out of hand. Overall the podcast is ok. But the name-calling of other people is problematic.
