Where is Lisa- left feeling unsatisfied
I find the part where Lisa goes into foster care quite ambiguous and certainly not well explored. A teenager doesn’t just go into care just because the parents are arguing! It just doesn’t make sense. Either explain something for what it is or what you think it is, or just leave il, don’t even bring it up. Listeners always deserve plausible, credible stories, and especially honest opinions from the host. We’re not listening to a news report after all. If you just want to do right by the victim’s family/friends, don’t cross them with what you think the reality is, then that’s not true investigative journalism. However, I find the podcast per-se well produced (though at times very poor quality audio), and the host is professional and considerate.

More reviews of Island Crime
Was subway Open at 3 am back in 2002? So many things to this story just do not add up.

Laura Palmer does a great job...her voice is calm and respectful. Lisa comes to life as a person, not just the victim of a crime. Most of all, the case is back in the news...all of which may lead the finally finding Lisa and justice for her family.

Thank you for sharing this story and the stories of the other victims. It makes a difference....one story at a time.
