Narrator’s reading is distracting
Interesting story and good journalism but I had to stop listening because of the host’s stilted, unnatural speech (she is very clearly reading from a script and isn’t trying to make her words seem at all natural or conversational). I didn’t know this would be a deal breaker for me but it is, it really pulls me out of it and makes me feel very uneasy with the host. I’d love another season, but I want to lightly suggest going for a more conversational approach rather than dictation.

More reviews of Island Crime
Awesome job - hope people feel compelled to speak up after listening. Looking forward to more seasons as well as updates and hopefully some closure for Lisa’s family.
