So much more than a whodunnit...
There are so many layers to this podcast. The story is compelling. The sounds are rich. The themes are heartbreaking. Lisa’s story brings a face to Canada’s missing and murdered indigenous women. Laura’s storytelling is professional and respectful. You can hear her connection with and respect for the people in Lisa’s life in her interviews. It is clear this is their story - Laura is there to bring new eyes and ears to Lisa’s experiences. And it is wrenching. Hearing Lisa’s sisters list of little things have me chills. I binged the first 3 episodes and cannot wait for the rest...

I love missing people and true crime podcasts. I love listening to something that’s local to my province. You did such a great job on this story and letting ya hear Lisa’s loved ones stories and voices. Well done.

Thank you for this podcast and sharing this 18 year old tragedy with us. Lisa seems like so many young women. I hope Lisa’s family, friends and loved ones know we are with them and pray for the best possible justice. My admiration to all those close to her in never giving up this case.

If you were in Namaimo back then, then you’ve seen the posters. You’ve likely heard some of these names and places. This podcast reveals so much more than has ever been made public. Justice is close.
