“I really enjoy listening to Island Crime. I grew up on the island and never knew about Lisa Marie Young, the missing men or Michael Dunahee, until I was in my 20s and fell in love with this podcast. I listen to many true crime podcasts, and Laura’s voice is one of my top 3 favourite to listen to. She tells stories with empathy for the families and communities of victims, yet tells facts that aren’t always so readily available to the public from the media and interviews with authorities. It’s very apparently Laura uses a Trauma Informed Practice when making these shows. I look forward to listening to more episodes. I just wish you had more shows :)”
