honest, current, open-minded
As a family doc in training I find these podcasts a refreshing take on some very relevant issues in health care today. Goldman and his crew are simultaneously able to a) allow "patients", or any non-health care professional, to see into the very real and sometimes dirty world of health care in canada and b) spin the mirror around on us physicians, nurses, and other hcp's to give us a good reality check. Bravo x 2! Every episode is prescient, and I always find myself thinking at the topic intro "hey cool, that's just what we were talking about yesterday"... and by the end of the episode I almost always think at least once "wow, I didn't think about that perspective..." and sometimes I also think "well, that's not quite how I see it..." But that's the beauty of WCBA: you get to hear all sides. Here's to more episodes next season!!Read full review »

1 billion a year in taxpayer money for this? Waste of money, listen to Sawbones, no taxpayer funding and real entertainment, not subsidized humour.
