Great in parts BUT
An insider's view of the government in action behind closed doors. Very well hosted by Calum MacDonald and I could listen to Kirsty Buchanan all day, her analysis is top class and her anecdotes and stories make for a great listen. BUT, and this is a big BUT the other presenter Oscar Reddrop is in my view an obnoxious smart *rse who offers very little of value. EX SPAD for Johnson, and he comes across exactly as you would imagine the stereotype of a spad who worked for "Boris" and loves "Boris". The only insight Reddrop offers is that it was probably even worse than you may have imagined, it was all about getting away with it. Reddrop offers no self reflection, no contrition, I'd even say amoral in that he sees nothing wrong with this AT ALL.Read full review »
