Excellent
A heartbreaking and tragic story so beautifully told by Sam Poling. I have watched her TV documentary on Emma Caldwell yet she has still been able to delve deeper and find new nuggets of information. Sam really captures Emma’s spirit and gives listeners an understanding of who she was. She also highlights the utter despair and terror faced by prostitutes working on Glasgow’s streets which is so hard to listen to at times. I was so hooked I listened to all of the episodes back to back and had to extend my walk so I could finish it. One of the best podcasts I’ve listened to in a long time.

More reviews of Who Killed Emma?
Compulsive listening. This is a truly incisive piece of journalism, extremely well put together. It’s simply a disgrace to hear the scant regard on the part of the police for the value of the lives of prostitutes and their families here in Glasgow. This is a must listen.

Excellent reporting, listened from start to finish in one sitting. I hope it’s solved soon and the guilty party gets their just deserves.

Women don’t wake up and choose to be sex workers. Nor do men. People don’t asked to be raped, abused,...Read full review »
