If you are a normal person who loves to drink wine, and are even a little bit curious about wine, history of wine, wine regions of the world, grape varietals, food pairing, culture, winemaking techniques, you name it, Elizabeth Schneider will cover it. She is that friend you know who happens to...Read full review »

Wine professional here. Love the pod, and have used it as an educational and entertainment resource for years. Elizabeth the service you provide is outstanding. A real shame about the recent decision to paywall the back catalogue. I use each regional episode to consolidate my studies, and it is...Read full review »

I just listened to the Lebanese wine episode. It's interesting how they mentioned all the difficulties of the region in making wine, really admirable but naming everything but not the European Zionist settler colonial entity as the root of these difficulties kept me wondering if the hosts are...Read full review »

You can find so many better wine podcasts to listen to. Don’t bother downloading, keep looking. Also, the host is annoying.

I found the podcast boring and somewhat pedestrian. If you need help falling asleep, this would be perfect. Not sure what vibe they’re going for. This is the Lamarca of wine podcasts.

This entity is bullying a small-town business in the Normaltown neighborhood of Athens, Georgia, issuing a “cease and desist” letter for his “Normal School of Wine.”

This podcast doesn’t have the enthusiasm wine lovers should have. I learned little to nothing in four episodes. Will not subscribe. Look elsewhere.

Bypass all the interviews. Host constantly interrupts people with pointless, rambling commentary. She has never interviewed a single person successfully. Its always about her trying to prove how much she knows, asking 7 overly aggressive questions at once, and running roughshod over the poor...Read full review »

I have been listening to this show for over a year, and honestly it’s been good enough for me to come back week after week. Unfortunately, though, I don’t feel like my wine knowledge has grown that much over the past year as someone who recently discovered wine. There is a lot of information...Read full review »

Some episodes are inspiring and super approachable, however, she yells over her guests and I can feel my face cringe every time she interrupts her guests… which is very often.

Good content for the most part but the whole global warming, sustainability and environmental concerns color every episode it seems. You can even hear a couple of the guests get a little frustrated with the constant talk about the ‘how sustainable is that’, ‘that seems wasteful’, ‘are you...Read full review »

Really tried to enjoy this podcast, but the first episode I picked was about Wines for Barbecue and they lost me immediately trying to use Barbecue as a verb and calling a grill a Barbecue…. Just kidding. Really enjoy it from a wine stand point. Educational but not too dry. A great podcast to...Read full review »

Yikes! Sounds like a cat’s meow and bark of a little dog all in one. Especially on EarPods. And her guest take a beating. And she constantly interrupts her guest and she… on and on.

Just listened to all the episodes on Italian wine; wow! So informative, entertaining, and passionate about the world of wine. Love this!

Went a little crazy and listened to all of the episodes in just over a month. Had to listen to many episodes sped up to x2 (and definitely annoyed my husband with it), but absolutely love the content. So educational and easy to grasp, upped my wine knowledge really quickly and now I actually wait...Read full review »

This is an occasionally decent, but never great, podcast about wine. Ironically some of the interviews would only be appealing to the most pretentious of wine snobs. And Elizabeth doesn’t shine as an interviewer, often interrupting her guests, and rarely drawing much of interest out of them. Also...Read full review »

I am enjoying the show. And having a lot of fun cruising the liquor stores armed a sense of adventure and suggestions of what to try! But … I wish MC Ice would let Elizabeth finish her thoughts and sentences before cutting it. I’d like to hear what she has to say before you ask a question or add...Read full review »

Fabulous episode on Cava Elizabeth! So much interesting information and I just had a beautiful Llopart Brut Nature Reserva Corpinnat over here in Stockholm Sweden. Keep up the good work, you are truly amazing and inspiring!🥰 All the best Eva Karlsson.

I love the ethos of this podcast - the open mindedness of the approach to wine. The idea that wine is this amazing thing that we should try to learn about and share with friends without behaving like members of an exclusive snooty club (sadly quite common in some stores I’ve been to). I’ve...Read full review »

This podcast is fantastic and provides so much more knowledge about specific regions, varietals and producers. Very down to earth and helpful, really without the fake snobbery of many wine shows. Keep up the work, the book is excellent as well!

In my opinion the best wine podcast by a large margin. The Pods that they highlight the regions are excellent! Great podcast for beginners, intermediate and advanced intermediates.

This is a pretty decent tool to learn wine. There is some good information and I have definitely used it. That’s the good thing about this podcast. The bad things are, however, fairly glaring. Positives: depth of catalog. Will tackle subjects others haven’t. Negative: this husband and wife team need marriage counseling.
