“This is an occasionally decent, but never great, podcast about wine. Ironically some of the interviews would only be appealing to the most pretentious of wine snobs. And Elizabeth doesn’t shine as an interviewer, often interrupting her guests, and rarely drawing much of interest out of them. Also somewhat ironic given the name, is that this podcast is far from one that a wine newbie would enjoy. Her husband (whom she regularly talks down to and puts in his place) co-hosts and helps by asking “ordinary person” questions. But all told, this podcast is often just more wine snobbery as Elizabeth does her best to flaunt her expertise.”
