“I am a college instructor and finishing my dissertation for my PhD. I recently visited Napa Valley, and developed an increased interest in learning more about wine and wine making. Elizabeth and Rick do a wonderful job of explaining wine concepts that are important to know in a way so that you both learn but also are not overwhelmed with fancy words that feel inaccessible. As the podcast has gone on, it has just gotten better! Their two part series on terroir was terrific and the episode about wine gadgets was great - I have since bought a Vacu Vin and it is indeed worth the purchase.
