I started listening to this podcast after hearing Chris Kohler guest on Retronauts and as I suspected his knowledge of games isn't just limited to the past. He's flanked by two equally educated co-hosts that help round out a solid showRead full review »

Podcast content is mostly good but it's infuriating to notice that they do this via Skype with bad mics and on a weak Internet connection. You always hear weird audio artifacting and connection drops on their end. I often hear echoing of a guest's mic on the host's mic as well. If I...Read full review »

Wired's gaming podcast features some great gamers. They are a smart assortment of writers. Unfortunately the game snobbery is too much. They talk Japan (Nintendo) games focused talk and ignore the rest. No sports. No shooters. No adult themed games. Not funny. They cover the gaming news...Read full review »

The three guys who do this podcast are all pretty smart and provide good info on current events in video games, but the host Chris tends to talk over the others constantly and doesn't let them flesh out their ideas. It's maddening and turns what could be a great podcast into a mediocre one.Read full review »

Chris Kohler is a great host and one of the most knowledgeable hosts in the video game podcast universe. The discussions are to the point, relevant and fun to listen to. They are also always clean to listen to so I can enjoy the podcast with my son on drives to sport events and what not and...Read full review »

Been listening for several months now, I enjoy the material you cover and the casts perspective on the industry. One thing that would be a nice improvement is the file management in iTunes as a lot of the older podcasts are missing date/time stamps and are out of order or missing.

I really like this podcast, it's very funny and the host is on point and interesting. As a Nintendo fan it's also funny to hear how the baffle the guys on the podcast with their decisions. The only caveat is how infrequently they air new podcasts, otherwise great!Read full review »

I'm not convinced these people actually enjoy games, I listened to two podcasts and most of the episodes were taken up with complaining about the games they were playing. Life has enough negativity, I play games and listen to gaming podcasts for enjoyment.Read full review »

I have listened to Chris for years on Retronauts. Finally, decided to try out his other podcast. Listed to half of the back catalogue now and this is a really great podcast. I'm all for a long format podcast, where hosts freely discuss topics that surround the main theme. However this only works in long podcasts that are 2 hours plus. 8-4, Weekend Confirmed, etc This short podcast should try to stick to the topics at hand and move on. Subscribing to a lot of gaming related podcasts is a bit of a mixed bag.
