Women & ADHD has opened my eyes
I was just diagnosed in October 2021 by complete fluke. I was working with my doctor on weight loss and she wanted to put me on a steroid to curb my appetite since I was binge eating. Once I started Vyvanse my entire world changed and she suggested I get an official diagnosis but it wasn’t until I started listening to this podcast that it really clicked. Never in my life did I think that I could possibly have ADHD. I thought it was the hyper kids who couldn’t sit still but I relate to you and so many of your guests. It’s so comforting to hear that I am not alone. I’m learning so much from all of these amazing women. It has also brought an understanding of why my dad was the way that he was. If I had come to learn about ADHD at least 3 years ago maybe he would still be here with us. Thank you for bringing this together for women like us who are diagnosed as an adult.

As a woman with ADHD who was diagnosed during the pandemic, I resonate with so many stories. I play this podcast when I clean to motivate me and keep me going. These stories are inspiring and I’ve learned so much.
