Proof That You Can Grow A Purpose-Driven Business With Knitwear Designer Genevieve Sweeney
Listen now
Description
Genevieve Sweeney is a designer and founder of a self-titled knitwear brand, who shares her journey into the fashion world with me, from working with big brands - both high street and designer - to founding her own business, where she prides herself on her commitment to slow fashion, British manufacturing and sustainable design.  Genevieve was influenced early on by her grandfather's craftsmanship, and her passion for knitting started in childhood, and I love this episode because Genevieve is a gentle and considered woman, who shows that anyone can build a brand with purpose if they have the desire and drive.  The discussion also delves into the personal challenges of balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship, as well as Genevieve's aspirations for the future of her business.
