Not Up to WSJ Normal Standards
I had come to expect during the Obama years a level of conservative intellectualism and nuance to the opinions page at WSJ. I come to find that the hosts here and now are totally devoid of nuance. They rarely go into principles supporting opinions other than liberals-bad-conservatives-good. They are also distressingly in the tank for Trump, even when he is notably non conservative. There have started to be alarmingly populist themes at place to the point of railing against the media and elites, seemingly abdicating the place among conservative intellectual elites that the page has held. This is immensely disappointing from the quality of analysis I had come to expect. I might even stop reading WSJ as the culture seems to be leaning that way in print and not just podcast. I will also add that the ads for BNY Melon Wealth Management directed (unironically) at only multimillionaires are very disconcerting. Apparently I am a few zeros of net worth away from being worthy of conservative news. It's an aggressively alienating ad that makes me mad every time I hear it.Read full review »

I think Paul, Bill and Kim are terrific as well as some of the other...Read full review »

This used to be a thoughtful analysis of the news through the conservative viewpoint of the WSJ editorial page. However, it is increasingly an 3X/week apologia for the personal conduct of President Trump. POTUS will send out a non-factual tweet and then the WSJ editorial board works feverishly...Read full review »
