Blast to the Past
Y2K is centered on the relationship between the two main protagonists and also the life of the podcaster who is listening in on the couple's archived voicemails. Listening in to small pockets of the couples' lives and catching up with them each week feels so personal, making emotional scenes hit really hard. I recommend catching up to follow the show with release dates as episodes occur on the corresponding week.Read full review »

More reviews of Y2K Audio Drama
Y2K has been one of the podcast highlights of 2020. Engaging characters all at different stages of their lives and with distance and isolation as recurring themes it has huge relevance and poignancy in the year of Covid 19. Give it a listen if you enjoy high quality, character based storytelling.

Despite being named after the infamous Y2K scare, from what I can tell this is a period piece about the beginning of the new century! It might take a turn, in which case this review will be hilarious in hindsight. I’m looking forward to hearing more!
