Give me a break
Good production values; absurdly manipulative story where a Mulder/Scully duo traipse over the Himalayas looking for the wilderness version of an urban legend. Just when you hope Mulder finally has the evidence he needs to hang up his obsession and get a real job, there’s another manufactured cliff hanger and a promise that things will settle down before the end. Except they don’t. If you’re a student of human folly (including the folly of podcast audiences) then this is the show for you. Otherwise, it’s fiction masquerading as fact, nonsense passing itself off as journalism, a cynical exploitation of the credulous for clout.
