Excellent reporting/memoir
This is the story of a whole community, situated in a country that is desperately trying to forget its history. Really appreciate this host for being a stick in the mud against that. This is not another corny true crime podcast—it’s DEEP. And it makes me want to hear more.

Really glad I was recommended this series. The host is very well connected to the culture in Chicago and uses this to his advantage to get the full story from all sides. A friend sent me a Twitter link to the trailer and I intended to listen to 1 episode today. Finished the whole series. The way it’s paced, and the mix of news/taped footage mixed with the narration and self-reflection is so strong. Focused, yet messy with no easy wrap-up.

Having lived through this time, it was fascinating to hear a compelling version of what was happening that we hadn’t heard before. Yohance Lacour is an excellent storyteller! It is important to here more stories like this.
