“Coming into this podcast as someone who didn't consider themselves that interested in the Golden Age of Hollywood, I was surprised at how much I LOVE THIS PODCAST! Give the first two episodes a listen and you will too. The first is about an obscure album by Sinatra which I immediately downloaded, and the second is about the obscure films of Val Lewton, which I immediately ordered on Amazon. Longworth is a gifted storyteller with a knack for bringing to life these flawed weirdos we're used to seeing whitewashed in polite tribute documentaries.
