“I found this podcast on the recommendation of Nate DiMeo, creator of the Memory Palace podcast. Karina's podcast is in the same vein as TMP - beautifully written, deeply researched and thoughtfully produced. I've been living for a bit in rural upstate NY and listening to You Must Remember This has become a bit of morning ritual. I listen to it on my morning walk to and from getting coffee. I'll be sad when I listen to all the back catalog and then have to wait patiently for each new episode. But such is life, and I'm sure it will make me appreciate every new episode even more, much as I do with the shorter and even more infrequent The Memory Palace. I'm glad this storytelling is out there. I will say that the best compliment I can give Karina is that I'm not even a fan of old movies and new nothing of old Hollywood when I discovered her podcast. But stories of people - of their joys and their struggles, of their public personas and hidden secrets - transcends any previous indifference I had to that slice of American culture. And one of these days I might even get surprised by the story of a male movie star who was a one-woman man. I'm not buying that image of Richard Gere post Annette Bening (not that there's anything wrong with that). :)”Read full review »

“This podcast provides a fascinating insight intco old Hollywood. The storytelling is languid and sophisticated. Most of all, it's good to listen to a well-researched podcast narrated with intelligence and humour.”Read full review »
