As a wine person, I got you, Jamie :) During these 500 Days of Summer, be sure to tune in to You’re Gonna Need a Bigger Bottle (Jaws is the best). Listen to the unscripted and genuine, affectionate banter between two best friends discussing movies they’ve paired with wine. Get Out of the house...Read full review »

This show is a delightful fount of the kind of intellectual bickering that is born from knowing each other so well and for so long. And sometimes they even learn from each other. As a wine novice, Jamie’s explanations really helped me expand my palate and explore wines I usually wouldn’t bother...Read full review »

Not sure this will count, but I really want Jamie to watch Thor: Ragnarock, and preferably with someone other than me. So here’s a “new review” in which I will also remind everyone this is a great goddamn podcast and you should definitely listen to it, because these beautiful idiots are hilarious...Read full review »

I am amazed at every episode how fantastic this concept has proven to be. I’ve known Jamie for a while and never thought he was this interesting but knew he had a fantastic palate and his knowledge and energies were unparalleled when it comes to wine. What this pod has really demonstrated is just...Read full review »

This podcast is such an absolute joy to listen to. Hosts James and Scott, who have fantastic chemistry, are both hilarious and extremely educational, speaking in depth about their respective fields with passion….while antagonizing one another from start to finish. Five stars.

When it first became apparent that the democratization of the Internet would create a new generation of grassroots, acorporate entertainers, I don't know that anyone expected that it would all be so *boring*. There is an insufferable surfeit of absolutely dreadful, privileged jokers running...Read full review »

These two cats have very good chemistry. You might have to wait for the movie that speaks to you but either way very entertaining!

There is a lot going for this podcast. It’s great to have two passionate, invested people who are able to talk about two jargon-heavy fields in completely relatable terms without ever dumbing-down the subject matter. What has been a pleasant surprise listening has been the way both fields do...Read full review »

I'll be honest: I don't care much for wine or movies, but on a recommendation from a friend I decided to give this podcast a go in spite of that. After all: it's healthy to get outside one's usual comforts, right? Don’t tell my friend I said this… I love this show. Reviewing wine...Read full review »

Pairing movies with wine is a pretty novel idea, and these guys do a great job of just that. Definitely worth your time if youlike either- or especially both of these things. Also it's funny as heck as despite how much knowledge these guys are dropping of their respective subjects, they also...Read full review »

There is no better salve for the quarantine blues than this. That doesn’t mean you should stop listening if the world ever exists again, but what a generous set of hands to transition us there. This is not a podcast just to hear people effuse over things they love, which could be an egotistical...Read full review »

Scott and Jamie have a great formula with this podcast - here's a movie to watch, here's a wine to pair with it. Then they talk about the movie and wine separately, and if the pairing is successful. I also love that they give you the next movie and wine ahead of time so you can really...Read full review »
