Surprisingly informative, concise and entertaining
I’m a History graduate, and interested in all things Europe, Medieval and Modern, as well as recently having read quite a bit about the Romans, and various other civilisations in Antiquity (being Irish, I’ve amassed quite a lot of knowledge on the Celts), However this may be, I found that This podcast has focused on key events and personnel throughout European political history that I was unaware of, the episodes are pleasantly short, with no distracting background noises which some podcasts feature. Overall, an excellent general history podcast which is easily accessible to non-historians and still has something to offer those of us who think we knew it all after reading Tom Holland.
