“It does a great job of telling European history via violent clashes between poeple and ideas.
Pro:
Easy to listen to and understand.
Goes off hte beaten path of areas and times that most are not familiar.
He really enjoys this project and it comes through in his work.
Con:
I would like a little more details on the weapons and the tatics of the battles. Many of the episodes cover thses points, Carl the authors tries to establis a fine line between just enough and too complex of details of which to include.”
