Also good for the non-military enthusiast
General history sometimes gloss over major battles, providing detail only as necessary in the context of the bigger picture. Sometimes, I want more info about specific battles: where, strategies, people, context, etc. But also not too interested in the exhaustive nitty-gritty that military enthusiasts look for. Also, learning names of important battles I knew about generally but not specifically. This podcast is perfect for me. Do not think military enthusiasts will be disappointed either.
