“I came to this podcast expecting to hear Gary and Kole talk in detail about suffering through terrible video games that were selected by their sadistic listeners--like a nightmarish complement to Watch Out for Fireballs or Bonfireside Chat, their other "video game book club" podcasts. There is some of that, but Abject Suffering is 10% suffering, 5% legit insightful critcism, and 85% tangents about buff clowns, gross bodily fluids, and GameFAQs detritus.
