Just as 'pills don't build skills', there's a huge blind spot in what doctors and other professionals without ADHD can help with in terms of psychoeducation. Eric knows exactly what is important to talk about to help people with ADHD and where they run into trouble. I'm pretty clued-up and had informed myself a lot already using other sources, yet just a few minutes into the first episode of the podcast, Eric said something so spot on re. my experience that I reflexively dropped what I was holding, turned to the speaker with my mouth open, and burst into sobs on my kitchen floor for the next ten minutes.
