My tale begins after the 4th age of Brie. My people and I lived along the Kareth coast in a small pasture. I was born in an already established tribe--the Rimouski tribe. I grew up with my grand-pepe Salriv and he taught me many life lessons like" the second mouse always gets the cheese". My grand pepe was one of the only elder mice of the tribe and after the cheeseball war, he was struck down by a savage human. After the death of my grand pepe Riov, the eldest of the family was appointed the leader of the tribe and changed the demographics of how our people were treated. Riov made dirty deals with the nearby human city. After the defeat of our grand pepe, he grew a sick appreciation for barbaric humans. Riov would pay the humans to kill off any of the tribe members that would create mistrust or betray him once he got appointed a new elder of the tribe. When I confronted him about his actions he had me beat up and put into the pit. The pit was 10ft deep and changed people. I was stuck in there for 2 twos and over that time something in me broke. Over a few days, I dug a tunnel system and escaped the pit. During that evening I planned to murder my brother and leave the tribe forever. Which I succeeded but couldn't stay long enough to see if I had actually killed him; When you set ablaze to a mouse home well there's just lots of screaming and male and female mousefolk look quite alike so I just assumed he was scorched. Been listening to this on my commute and while working. Great group of people with amazing characters, settings and tons of great DnD fun. Been loving the art, this podcast is well worth listening to 😀
