Short and slow
I'm a big fan of true crime podcasts, especially ones like Casefile. This one, sadly, seems to be an exercise in replaying one phone call and seeing how long the editor can make the intros. The narrator (his name escapes me) seems to be very pleased with himself, as though he's just about to solve the crime of the century himself. One episode of story crammed into five. I was quite disappointed. Am I the only person getting a little bored of people trying to imitate Serial? This does have a different production style in some ways but still feels like a cheap replica. I may be missing something but this just did not grip me - each to their own I guess

The episodes are too short and the introduction in each episode is too long. In a 15 minute episode around 5 minutes are spent introducing and recapping.
