Exploitive
I really tried with season two of this podcast. While it reveals a complex and charged picture of international adoption and how this came to be in Guatemala. But this adoptive mom/host is extremely exploitive. HOW can you bring mics into these peoples lives and ask sure cruel questions “do you think of Diego as your son?????” Recording isobels grief and trauma are you kidding me!!! This is no different than the facilitators having women who literally can not read documents giving up their babies. I really hope the hosts look at these reviews everyone is commenting on the same thing. The recording of every single moment for decades makes it seem like you set out to make Diego a journalistic project his whole life not a human. Deeply shocked by this.

How disappointing...Read full review »

Fascinating podcast that covers the evolving fertility community from several different angles. Binged in one day & have now subscribed for the bonus episodes!
