I really wish they would start this podcast back up! Can’t wait to meet the new talent at BA.

Is this not the type of info I can find almost anywhere else...including other Condé Nast publications? Bring back the Bon Appétit podcast of old. It was so much more interesting and informative.

My favorite food podcast—please bring it back

I really miss this podcast and hope you guys will put something new out with all the bright BA personalities.

Guys, I know there have been a lot of changes - but I miss you and NEED you. Please come back to us with more pods soon… you were my weekend respite, making me smile and feel motivated to cook (and clean!). Hope you are all well.

Probably won’t be listening to this anymore should the remaining folks be able to pull off another podcast more than 2 months after he left. Adam clearly kept a diverse staff on track, was entertaining and informative, yet another victim of our woke culture. Congrats Bon Appetite for caving to...Read full review »

Wow. I cannot believe the lip service Bon Appétit has paid to diversity, only to continue along the same path of tokenism and underpaying their [former] phenomenal contributors of color. All the talent they’re willing to forego just because they refuse to compensate equitably—really just blows my...Read full review »

Why does the message have weird eating sounds? Maybe try another take?

Thank you for acknowledging what happened and revamping the podcast now Adam is gone! It was a sincere message.

That Rapoport sounded like such an elitist , smarmy dick and I guess that really did reflect how he is as a person. Will be unsubscribing now.
Adrian69690 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 06/12/20
I stopped listening to your podcast about this time last summer. The host was the reason, episode after episode at a certain point was riddled with problematic opinions, snarky shoot downs and a definite distaste for the female opinion. Hate the cause but welcome the change. Love you Bon Appétit,...Read full review »

Rappaport was confronted by an African American chef an episode or two ago about lack of diversity. His backpeddling and silence spoke volumes. You eat what you bite off. Enjoy your next career as a busboy. Esquire (previous employer) is just as complicit. Deleted from pod subscription.

I LOVE THIS PODCAST. I can’t get enough of Bon Appetit. Constantly checking the website and rereading the mag as often as I can. I love listening to every host and guest on this show. They each bring something special to the table. Adam has a tendency to interrupt sometimes but I don’t think it...Read full review »

I couldn’t concentrate on the content of, like, Episode, like, 204 because I found myself counting, like, how many times, like, the host says like. Like, dozens and dozens of times- sometimes per sentence. What IS that ?? For one thing, it’s obnoxious filler. And it sounds so teenager. But why...Read full review »

1 star until Condé Nast realizes that their INCREDIBLE staff members of color deserve to get paid for appearing in content. This is such white racist nonsense.

Adam Rapoport must resign
Niall_Coyle via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 06/08/20
Even before confirming that Rapoport is overtly enacting racist behavior, I already felt he was insufferable. I listen to catch my BA favorites who are far more capable interviewers. But Rapoport is a terrible interviewer & doesn’t provide space for guests to speak. Find someone else to host....Read full review »

Somehow the podcast is both condescending and completely lacking in substance. I’ve listened to this show because I love to cook, but there is very little depth and few unique suggestions for cooking. Instead, the hosts share their very New York- centric opinions about food, or claim to be...Read full review »

Listening to the healthyish guide to cooking alone or whatever its called was like watching paint dry. You gotta relearn the way you use...Read full review »

Why? Because too many of the episodes are dominated by Adam Rapoport who seems to be some big noise at Bon Appetite. He is INSUFFERABLE. A self-obsessed big head making everything about him and constantly interrupting the often very interesting guests. He’s the boss so I suppose they can’t say...Read full review »

I love this podcast & find it so relaxing. I often listen when I’m stressed & can’t seem to sleep. While it’s definitely more interesting to watch the crew on YouTube, the podcast is super informative and puts me in a good mood.
angelizkewl via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/26/20
Hosts could not be more pretentious or out of touch with the average person (even average millennial New Yorker), but hearing them talk about food is enjoyable and occasionally there is a great interview or well thought out segment about a recipe or food.
KShush8888 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 04/22/20
Some hosts are beloved, some are polarizing. None will escape not liking certain foods, geography mistakes, and occasional politicization because THEY’RE HUMANS. This is a podcast with tons of opinions inter-spliced with food knowledge. Elicits additional strong reactions for being...Read full review »

Gang if you’re gonna monetize an episode please have a variety of ads at LEAST. After 3 daily harvest ads in a row during episode 268 I’m so sick of the product placement I don’t even wanna buy the product. Otherwise good show

The host, BA’s editor in chief, consistently makes his own perspective (apportioning credit among writers, thumbs up-down opinions) the center of this, interrupting and undercutting the guests, who I kept wanting to ... hear about cooking from. The Basically Baking episode was the last straw—it’s...Read full review »

I really enjoy how enthusiastic and particular the guests are about food. Adam as host is definitely an acquired taste, but I’ve gotten used to him and have even started enjoying his personality.

I really enjoy this podcast. Some of the food is wonderful, and I go and try, but more I enjoy listening to the approach they take. They spend too much time chatting. I guess it would be fine if I liked their personalities (I mean, I don’t hate them like some reviewers, but why should I care what they think about spritzers?) but I find the whole thing a little annoying. I kind of wanted a younger Milk Street.

I like the BA YouTube channel and read the magazine as a kid (my mom has been a subscriber for years).
