Order of the Old Testament
First off, love the podcast and have loved it for years. Second, to provide what I was taught while growing up (make of it what you will), I was always taught the the Old Testament books are in the order they are in (at least broadly speaking) because they are by genre. First, the Law. Next, history. Then, poetry. After that, the “major” prophets. Lastly, the “minor prophets. I think that order makes sense (particularly if we assume that Lamentations was written by Jeremiah). And I think it’s at least close to be in chronological order within the genres as much as is possible given multiple authors and overlapping timeframes.

My go to podcast. Informative, well-researched and entertaining. My only complaint is there should be more episodes and I hope they do Chronicles and maybe Acts at some point. Top-notch!
