“I found this podcast by fluke, but omgoodness I’m so happy that I did!!
Listening to this brings me back to my childhood and how I used to eat. I remember my parents yelling at me that I had to eat because it was time to eat but me saying I’m not hungry I don’t want to eat. We would get into huge arguments about it and ultimately I’d have to eat even when I didn’t want to and then also having to be a member of the clean plate club. This leads me to now and eating because it’s ‘time’ to eat and not because I’m actually hungry and forcing myself to eat everything so we don’t waste food.
I just found this podcast at the beginning of this week and am starting to practice getting back in touch with my true hunger and not eat because it’s time to eat or because I can’t let the food go to waste (just last night I left half my food on my plate because I just didn’t want anymore and feeling so good about it...I also woke up feeling the best I have in months)
I’ll update in a few months after practicing these methods for more time but I truly think I hit the jackpot!!”
