They had me with Bulletproof Coffee!
I have listened to all the episodes. The content is excellent - the quality of the guests is really high and Dave and Armi's interviewing style has gotten more polished over time. I love the responses to listener feedback, hearing about the things D&A are working on, and (especially!) the research section. The idea behind the show is that there are things you can do to improve your quality and length of life (e.g. eat right, supplement, meditate), and they want to help us do this efficiently. I was already fairly paleo when I started listening, but this is so much more than that. To give you a sense of where they are coming from, Dave is really active in the longevity movement (which touches other areas sometimes associated with "transhumanism" - his supplement regimen rivals Kurzweil's). I like their emphasis on science (and their enthusiasm). I also appreciate that they have made some of the harder to find hacks on their website (descriptions of their products sound more like FYI's than shilling - this is good).Read full review »
