“Anything Amy puts out speaks straight to the heart and is like a light when you’re in the dark. That the things we struggle with are not actually because we are not good enough or are coming up short, is a refreshing relief. Her reminding and pointing out the “me” in “my problems” is profound and freeing. It’s easy to find oneself in a made up identity with feelings that rise in disappointment or hard times. It’s so easy to believe we suck or are doing life wrong when we have lots of emotions and find ourselves then believing we belong to the “doesn’t have it together, is in trouble or not going to be happy or a ‘successful human with a good life” category. Podcast 5 really resonated with me around this.”
