Just listened to Vintage Sewing not Vintage Values and love the “complete in the usual way” comment. I recently picked up a 1953 version of Mary Brooks Pickens Singer Sewing Book so am glad to hear it will be helpful to its that phrase. I dislike that phrase more than “the quilt as desired” at...Read full review »

As a self “trained” sewist running a very small upcycling brand there is so much knowledge to lean on here. Especially because there’s no sewing guilds in my area. This feels like a little remote club to help point out my (many) blind spots and continue to grow. Thank you.

I am a newbie sewist and I adore this podcast. Zoe is such a ray of sunshine! It motivates me to create and be thoughtful and is the best companion while sewing! Also, every pattern Zoe has recommended has been excellent, which is especially helpful as a beginner.

I am not an eco warrior. I’m a normal mum who buys plastic bottles of water when I forget the kids’ water bottles. BUT from listening to Zoe’s inspiring podcast I’ve realised that small steps are still steps. I now reflect on my own sustainability wins and fails each week.
