“This podcast makes me doubt my love of other Slate productions. Am I really aligning myself with such pretentious twits? Are these really the people that are at the cocktail parties where Emily, John, and Plotz are chattering? If so, I've got to stop my social climbing. “I can't disagree with many of the reviews that have called this podcast out on being far too pretentious, snobbish and condescending. I think the main problem is that you get the distinct impression that these people either don't actually watch and/or don't actually like the things...”Read full review »
