Details and angles
Dan always, without fail, hits us with the details that matter and he finds angles from which to approach the “story” that illuminate the whole story. ...though Dan Carlin does come off as a bit pretentious and that weakens it somewhat but I find it most enjoyable since I have a B.A. in history myself.
