“So, let's start with the good.
•The audio quality and sound design is fine. Nothing groundbreaking, but there's nothing wrong with it.
•The framing device is interesting enough in concept.
•Some of the acting is fine. Again, not great, but not bad either.
With that out of the way, let's move on to the bad. And by bad, what I mean is awful:
•The voice acting that isn't good is horrendous. Emoting that wouldn't be out of place in a soap opera. The grandmother in the second episode sounded like it was played for laughs. And the comedy New York accents in episode three were priceless. "Ey! Bada bing! Fuggedaboudit! Gabagool!" When Dan Cummings is one of the better actors in the episode you know you have problems.
•The stories are neither scary or interesting. "Billionaire pits his kids against each other in death match." "Someone was living in the walls." One of the advantages of purely written or auditory mediums is that what you can portray is only limited by the author's imagination. Whoever wrote these was certainly limited.
•The musical interlude in episode two is the most obnoxious and masturbatory thing I've heard in a while. It added nothing to the story and stopped the whole narrative dead. Also... not a good song, guys. If you want to show off, just stick to Wonderwall.
•The creators wannabe McEllroy Brothers routine is neither entertaining nor informative. We get it, you're all best buds and are super stoked to have a horror podcast.
Nosleep is more bad than good, certainly, but at least it tries and occasionally it really gets it right. I have much less faith in this show. It's bland, boring, and of distractingly substandard quality.”Read full review »

“This is absolutely wonderful. Listened on Halloween per NoSleep Podcast's recommendation, and I'm so glad I listened. On the border of soap-opera, but nonetheless enjoyable to the end.
First episode was wild from start to finish and I loved it, although I had that slight "aw come...”Read full review »

The storyline, voice actors and music are spectacular & the sound is like nothing I've heard before. It takes a LOT to actually scare me and podcast has done it. Listen to...”Read full review »
