Noom is a diet - episode 64
Hi. This was my first podcast for What the Actual Fork and I was disappointed. I was looking for information on Noom when I clicked to listen. I understand that the opinions expressed are just that, opinions. I just feel like it would be more credible and helpful to have more than one POV. I have read up on Noom and have talked to several people with personal experiences. They seem to contradict some of the statements made by the guest, which is fine, but again, that is what’s nice about having different POV so you can have a very informed discussion. I felt like the guest had some chips on her shoulder and was interested in promoting the hosts product which made me second guess the negativity towards her Noom experience. I don’t want to judge the whole podcast on just this episode because I don’t think that’s fair. My rating of 2 stars is for this episode only and simply because it seemed very biased. I will give the podcast another shot with a different topic.

However I was incredibly disappointed with the discussion (or lack of) on vegetarianism/veganism and morality as well as the...Read full review »

I love how Sammy and Jenna keep real when talking about nutrition and bypassing diet culture, and instead prioritizing how we can live a healthy lifestyle. This podcast is so helpful, I cannot recommend it enough!
